About Tess

Since founding her firm 20 years ago, Tess Giuliani has been recognized for her creative and functional designs that calm, revitalize and instill emotional well-being.

 

Tess’ projects have ranged from the cozy cottage to the complete design of a 12,000 square foot shingle style house dubbed, The New American Classic. Her designs include floor plans for a water front home on the Jersey Shore for an active young family; an Adirondack style lake house for a retiring couple; an addition on an historic house in Nantucket; a ski house in Upstate NY; the renovation of a beach house in Amagansett; an urban style kitchen in West Chelsea, NYC; hospitality design for an eco boutique hotel and numerous additions to houses for new kitchens, bathrooms, family rooms and bedrooms.

Educated in the US and abroad, Tess’ fascination with world cultures opened her eyes to the extraordinary world of design. Beginning her multi-faceted career in New York, she became the 1st woman jeweler for Cartier, Inc. After moving to Asia; Tess held the distinction of being the 1st foreign interior designer for Motsomoto Designers in Tokyo. Upon returning to the States she opened her firm 20 miles from NYC, focusing on residential space planning with an emphasis on kitchens and bathrooms. 

Tess has been awarded many of the Kitchen and Bath Industries' top design honors, including 1st Featured Kitchen Designer in America for Viking Inc., Best Kitchen, Best Bathroom and Best Furniture Design for National Kitchen and Bath Association. She holds a BA from Georgian Court University, a Certificate of Design from New York School of Interior Design and is a Certified Kitchen Designer with The National Kitchen and Bath Association.  Her designs have been published globally for residential inspiration and product promotion.
